Meet Traci

I am a woman who is able to love much because she has been forgiven much…

There’s no other place I would rather be than at the feet of Jesus. I believe the Lord Jesus Christ is the answer to everything, for everyone, and I long to make sure His gospel is proclaimed for all to hear so they can accept His invitation to a life of wholeness, just as I have received.

I know what it’s like to overcome. I’ve lived a whole lot of life in a short amount of time, including surviving abuse, being a single mother for 12 years, and battling addiction, chronic pain, and severe depression. My family and I have also traveled the road of adoption loss, years of infertility, and a pregnancy loss. The one thing that has brought me through it all is the relationship I have with my Savior, Jesus Christ. I believe with every fiber of my being that only Jesus can completely save, heal, restore and redeem lives, including my own. I have experienced this truth personally and intimately. I try to let my passion, that everyone would believe in the true God of the Bible by knowing Him intimately through reading His word, shine through everything I do. My heart is to share with you how the Bible displays the love of Jesus revealed to us and can be used to heal our hurting hearts, to revive our weary souls and to give us shelter in the midst of life’s storms and trials. Jesus alone is the reason for my deep, inner peace and abundant joy. I know He can do the same for you!

I live in Minnesota with Asa, my loving husband of 8 years, our sweet 20 year old daughter, Kayla, and three dogs. I am currently serving my church through writing, publications, administration and social media as well as singing on the worship team, which is my favorite. I also serve my sphere of influence by being an advocate and an encourager wherever there is a need.
I live in Minnesota with Asa, my loving husband of 9 years, our sweet, 21 year old daughter, Kayla, and our fur-toddlers: Daisy, Gertie, and Sebastian. I am currently serving my church through leading worship, administration, other leadership roles, publications, editing/writing, and our online presence. I also serve my sphere of influence by being an advocate and an encourager wherever there is a need.

My life verses are Psalm 27 and Luke 7:36-50. Verses 47-50 in Luke read: “Therefore I say to you, her sins, which are many, are forgiven, for she loved much. But to whom little is forgiven, the same loves little.” Then He said to her, “Your sins are forgiven.” And those who sat at the table with Him began to say to themselves, “Who is this who even forgives sins?” Then He said to the woman, “Your faith has saved you. Go in peace.”

P.S. I wear plaid boots, striped socks & fun skirts, don lots of pink & attempt to be witty. I quote “The Princess Bride” in regular conversation and will do just about anything to make you laugh and feel loved–for real. I like to consume Chipotle, dark chocolate, potato chips and tea. Oh, and I laugh really loud and smile really big. 😀

Hey Sweet Girl …

I sifted through my stack of business cards tonight to see if I could figure out who to thank for a gentle touch and fervent prayer. I believe that it was you. I have been through a few really rough years … some days a storm, others a desert, once in a while a brief oasis … and am carrying a lot of loneliness and pain. It meant a great deal to me that you seemed able to feel that and to pour a generous portion of compassion, and a reminder that God does see me and knows my aching heart, into my life. You blessed me and I wanted to say thank you!

P.S. Oh My Goodness … Do you know Jackie (Sill)? I see her in your followers. Such a tiny world! I ADORE her!

P.P.S. Take a look at my blogs and if you like what you see … I can help you with some simple blog redesign. I did my own and have done some for friends. (Saw that on your FB feed.)
